You recently lost your Hard Drive and along with you all your snaps! Worst of all you haven't taken any backup for the same. So they are as good as lost, aren't they? The answer is NO! Not if you have posted them on Facebook.
Did you know that you can download a copy of all your Facebook data on your local Hard Drive, for FREE, without having to install any software. This data includes all your photos, videos, albums et al. Isn't it something!
Here's how you can download a copy of all your Facebook data:
1. Login to your Facebook account.
2. Head over to your Facebook Account Settings page.
3. Towards the middle of the page do you see something written like "Download a copy of your Facebook data." with a link on it? Well, you guessed it right, you need to click on that link.
4. You would be asked to enter your Facebook password. Once you enter your Facebook password, it would show a green button which says Download Archive.
5. After you click on that button you need to wait for sometime, maybe a couple of days. The Facebook team would process your request and would send you a mail with the download link to the same email address which you use to login to your Facebook account.
Caution: Protect your archive
Your Facebook archive includes sensitive info like your private Wall posts, photos and profile information. Please keep this in mind before storing, sending or uploading your archive to any other site or service.
